Sawyer

 Sawyer....

Sawyer's name came from the Tom Sawyer the song and the book.  His middle name, Osborne, came from Ozzie Osborne!  I asked him if his parents liked Ozzie's music...and he said he thought they did.

Sawyer told us he does archery!  He brought an arm guard.  He told us you don't have to use them, but it came with the bow he has.  The guard protects your arm from the string.  Naturally, we had Sawyer model the arm guard!

 "Cheese!"  (not really)

Sawyer brought his camera.  He told us he had wanted an underwater camera.  He saw it on sale at K-Mart.  When he went to buy it, they didn't have that one.  Sawyer thought that was strange.  His grandparents ended up buying him this one...and it's waterproof, shockproof, and freeze proof. 

 He brought a little cruise ship, telling us he had been on a Disney cruise!  They went to Florida and sailed out of there...going through the Bahamas!  He also went through the Bermuda Triangle!  That sure got a lot of comments from Room 5!

Sawyer also brought a poker chip, telling us he likes to play poker. Some room 5ers said 'EVERYONE' plays poker...but then quite a few chimed in and said, 'No," they didn't play poker!

Sawyer ended with showing us his lego guy...his lego guy whose face can change...

We were all excited to hear about Sawyer!
