Recorders!

 We got our recorders Wednesday before last.  We had some pretty excited Room 5ers!

 Mr. K is a great music teacher, in my opinion.  He has some very specific rules that he goes by.  Recorder class can be rather....chaotic!  That could even be putting it mildly. 

 He's been teaching Room 5 to read music.  This day, he put all that into practice and they played parts of some songs.

 He demonstrated for Room 5 exactly what he meant when they came to a 'rest.'

We only take recorders for this first trimester, unfortunately. 

Budget cuts are the reason!  We'll enjoy it as long as we can!
