Koen

 Meet Koen!

Koen started by showing us this 'survival bracelet.'  He said he made it himself!  Wow!  Now that I'm writing this, I'm wondering, 'why is it called a survival bracelet?'

 This black and orange case (SF Giant's colors???) was in his bag to let us know he likes playing games on his iPhone. 

 Ahh, here we go!  A baseball!  Koen told us he likes to PLAY and WATCH baseball! 

 He also likes the SF Giants!  He brought this sticker to show us.  (They did finally win tonight 2-1 after losing 3 straight games!)

 This is a bouncy ball.  Koen told us he collects them...and he just likes to bounce them all over!

The last thing Koen had in his bag was an arrowhead.  He told us he got it at the zoo...and he likes to go to the zoo!  I told Room 17 that we would be studying arrowheads this year.  Once when we study Native Americans and again when we study rocks and minerals!  Oh boy!

We were excited to hear all about Koen through the things he brought in his bag!
