Doctor Dodge Ball is the name of the game Mrs. W taught us yesterday. Many of us had played before, but Mrs. W had a few different rules that some Room 8ers were familiar with.At the end of our playing time, Mrs. W asked for a 'thumbs up' if they liked the game. Guess what? There were 27 pairs of 'thumbs up!' They didn't like the game, they loved it!
In this first photo, you can see all the nerf balls lined up on the center line in the gym. That's how the game starts, with two teams on opposite sides of the gym.
When Mrs. W blew her whistle, each team raced up to the center line to grab a ball and start throwing!
The 'Doctors' had a safe square, but they had to be careful not to get hit! There was no 'Doctor's doctor!"

My wife was a teacher for 24 years and is very impressed with what you are doing with these children. One of our grandsons is in the mob and our daughter was one of the parent instructors.
