She started by showing us a photo of some hot springs. Kaylin went to Montana for two weeks with her Grandma and Grandpa. In Montana, they went to some hot springs.

This teddy bear is not just your average bear...no, it's got a bouncy ball inside! Kaylin told us she likes stuffed bears...and she also likes bouncy balls. Some Room 8ers ask her to bounce the bear...Kaylin just chuckled, but didn't attempt to bounce the bear!
Isn't this picture great? Kaylin told us she likes to be in the sun, so she brought sunglasses to illustrate this. Of course, we asked her to put them on for us!
Kaylin has a cousin named Tony who is in the Air Force. She brought this patch to tell us about him. We could tell she is proud of him. She told us he received an award called 'Airmen of the Year! Congratulations, Tony!
Now this sparked some discussion. Guess what's in the bag?It's probably hard to tell from this photo, but it's a bat... Kaylin's dad found it near a cabin. She told us it was dead and it's real! (We had the question, "Is it alive?")
Next came a baseball, not a softball but a baseball! Kaylin loves baseball. She played on the Denny's team and her dad was the coach. This is a game ball given to her one day when she showed up with the flu. she had to go since her dad was the coach, but she didn't play.
Kaylin also brought a pressed penny from a car museum in Sacramento. There were lots of old cars there...and she likes old cars. Her dad is building a jeep that was used in the war.
This is a piece of petrified wood from her friend, John. John lives in a cabin and has over a billion different kinds of rocks!
This may not look like it, but it's a pig. Kaylin's friend, Bailey, (a former room 8er!) gave it to her. Bailey got it in Mexico. You can pull its tail!
This pink bracelet...Kaylin really likes it. She likes "bracelets and necklaces and stuff." This bracelet says "Princess Nicole" on it...
It became quiet in Room 8 when we heard that.
"And now those who know me, know..." and most Room 8ers knew that Kaylin just LOVES Miley Cyrus... She's even been to one of her concerts in Oakland!
