Practicing our spelling words

 Thursday mornings usually find us practicing our spelling words.... some Thursdays, you may find Colby and Cody both wearing orange!

 We've talked about HOW to study...what does that mean? 

 So we pair up.  Some students choose to write the word...others just verbally spell it.

 Some are more relaxed about it...

 Some have a grand time practicing...

 Some are SO SURPRISED that their teacher takes so many photos!

 Some give me a sign that all is well!

Some...well, I have no idea what they're doing.  They must have already practiced all the words. 

Our spelling test is on Friday morning...and it's dictation. 

Working with partners is a big hit in Room 17!
