A few Tuesday afternoon photos

Tuesdays are the day we can have PE in the gym...and we usually do. However, yesterday (Tuesday) we were working hard on our regions brochures and also on our food chain projects. I think someone asked me what we were going to do for PE...I looked up at the clock and it was almost time to go home.

"Time flies when you're having fun!" was all I could say. Kaylin was in shock when she realized what time it was, too. She said it seemed like in the movies when a clock's hands go around the clock real fast...good analogy, Kaylin!

We had less than 10 minutes to play...more like 6-7 minutes. I decided that was a great reason to take a few photos! Shelby and Liam... I think they told me they were cousins??? I had no idea!
Noah, Kaylee, and Blayke got together for a photo. I had taken some earlier just of Noah. By the looks on her face, I asked her if she liked to have her picture taken... "No..." she said. I think it was easier with a group.
Kaylin...don't you just love those dimples?
Joseph had a big smile for me. We're just so glad to have Joseph back at school. He was sick for quite a while.
Don't these girls look happy? Jaelin, Terra, Kaylin, and Serenity. They're happy all the time!
Whoa! Hold on a minute. This isn't a Room 8er! Well, I take that back. She comes to Room 8 for ExCEL, thank goodness. I call her Andy, but most people call her Brittany.

A.J...I actually took about 10 photos of him as he was walking toward me. I think AJ looks like a model!
Terra...she also gave me a big smile...Terra and Andy are actually cousins. I know they don't look exactly alike, but I can definitely tell they're related.
I just love this picture...I love the subjects, and I love the perspective. Serenity, Jaelin, and Sam... I reminded them to PLEASE hold on with both hands as they twirled around on the bars.

I love having so many great photographic subjects!

With our buddies we talk about what we're thankful for

Tuesday, we met with our buddies. That's our day to be with them. The fourth grader traced the first graders hand. Together, they turned it into a turkey, writing "I am thankful for..." in the center of the turkey.
The fourth grader was talking with their first grader about the things they were thankful for. Together, they drew pictures of these.
The fourth graders helped them to label the drawings.

At this point, it was time for me to just take some photos of the kids...they are so adorable. Some students (both in Room 8 and in Mrs. F's first grade) have requested their child not be photographed, so you won't see everyone here.

You may notice that most first graders have at least 2 buddies...That's because we have 29 students and Mrs. F has 14...and several were absent!

We're thankful for our buddies!
