Ms. R. led our school through 2 parades. The primary kids went first and had their own parade through the primary wing. Those of us more mature students (3rd - 5th grades) had our own parade starting at 1:30. We paraded in and out of all the upper grade classrooms, ending up in a circle outside.

Kaylin...she even looks great with a green face!
After the parade, we had a wonderful party in Room 8, thanks to our wonderful parents who provided all the treats! Oh... it was all so tasty!

A.J. was having a grand time!
As was Andreas and Bryce...
We even had parents and siblings join our party! As I say, 'the more, the merrier!'
Besides food on the table to select from, a couple of different Room 8ers brought goody bags. Those were definitely FUN to receive!
A fun time...
This is what we all need to do... hug our moms, tell them how much we love them, and tell them 'Thank You!' for providing us with such wonderful treats...

"Sweets for the sweet" is what was written on our schedule for the party!

P. E. Experts

Thursday's P.E. for Room 8 had 3 'experts' for 3 different games. Keith was the "expert" for wall-ball...
Kaylin was the "expert" at basketball...
Kaylin told me being 'in charge' was a lot harder than she thought it would be.
Jarrin was the "expert" at 4-square...
The "experts" were to explain the rules...and give pointers...for their game.

There were 8 Room 8ers in each group...
When I was first asking for an expert for each game, Kaylin raised her hand, and Room 8 all agreed that Kaylin was "SO GOOD!" The same remarks were given for Jarrin and Keith...also for Dallin, who went home before P.E. since he wasn't feeling well.

It was definitely a fun P.E. day for Room 8.

We posed for photos.... of course!
Jarrin and his 4-square group...
Kaylin and her basketball group...
Keith and his wall ball squad!

Great job, experts!
