We listened to one of the students tell us what we would see...
Room 5 first went through the mill...seeing tools that were man-powered!
We saw pictures of when the President of the United States had come to visit!
A printing set-up..
As we toured the mill, I saw this plaster work... gorgeous!!!
The grounds of the Millworks is old, rustic, and beautiful...
Jacob posed for this one!
We took some time at the welding shop....
We were shown some of the molds used to make the plaster forms...
An Oxcart |
We were able to look through other buildings...a kitchen, a sitting room, ....
a theater...
feeding the animals was a highlight.....
Picking the food to feed was also fun!
While some of us stayed and fed the animals, 1/2 of us took off to go look at the ox... |
We were not allowed to get too close...
An old trolley car...
A great place to eat lunch!!!
The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! |
It was time to head back to school, so we lined up by class to make sure we were all here!
Some students would have loved to stay and pet the dog!
...just as I would have loved to stay back and take lots more pictures! What a gorgeous place! |
