Tribes

We've been studying about some of the California tribes....

learning that they lived like they did because of the resources available to them...

After reading and studying about them, we divided the class into tribes.  Each tribe had certain topics they had to research.  They took notes...wrote those notes into their own paragraphs...drew an illustration for each topic... then organized their posters.

The last part of the project was presenting their posters to the class.

That's what these photos are about.  I'm not sure why I took a lot of the Yokut tribe, but only one of the others...
