Ms. P introduced Room 5 to Henri Matisse. She taught them the correct way to say his name. I learned something new, too. I had no idea his name was pronounced the way it is!
They looked at examples of his work....
Once they had their strip of paper and their background piece, they were ready to start creating their shapes.
