Alexander the Great tried to conquer Room 8 - well, not exactly. Alexander use to live in Room 8 when he was a mere 4th grader, but now that he has moved on to bigger and better things, he came to Room 8 to tell about his life. In 5th grade, a big project is the 'biography project.' Students pick a person and read about their life. I'm not sure all what they do, but dressing up as that person and giving a presentation in character, is part of it. All of the classes make a model of that person too. We enjoyed hearing all about Alexander the Great!
