Native American poster project

In Social Studies, we studied some Native American tribe in our state and how they lived according to the natural resources of their area.

Following that, Room 8 was divided up into groups... tribes. They researched different topics related to their tribe, took notes, wrote paragraphs from those notes, drew pictures to illustrate their topics, then put it all together on a poster. Lastly, they presented their posters to the class. They turned out WONDERFUL!

Moriah was gone on vacation the week we worked on the project the most. She did research for her independent study and did a poster by herself.

The Chumash tribe working on their poster.
Vanessa was trying to find out what an agave skirt looked like. We googled it.

Practicing for their presentation...

Excellent job, Room 8!
