 Meet Colby!

 My smiling Colby started his bag by showing us this pencil...

can you guess why?

He likes to draw! 

I definitely think we need to get a lot of art projects in room 17.  We have a class of kids who love to draw just like Colby!

 Colby shared a baseball and a football card.

He said he had these because he likes sports..

and he likes to collect the cards!

Some sweet voice in Room 17 added, "That explains the shirt!"

 In this container are 'feet.' We have had a program in our district for quite a few years called the mileage club.  For every mile they run, they get a little foot that they can put on a little chain.

Colby also told us he likes to run.

 This football was in his bag because he likes to play with it with his dog..

and he likes football.

"That explains the shirt," I heard again!

 Colby also had an iPod

because he likes to listen to music.

His last item was a mini basketball...

because he likes to play basketball!

Colby is most definitely a sports guy..

and a happy one!
