Friday morning...our last session

This was a hit with our kitchen moms...a little bitty banana!  Isn't it cute?  No one wanted to eat it since it was so little...
After our breakfast, which I obviously didn't get a lot of photos of...since I overslept... we had our last time with our rangers.
We all met in the outdoor school room...
and the rangers reviewed some of the things we had learned over the last couple of days...
 Ranger Laura
Ranger Monda talked to us about stewardship...
Ranger Carla
Ranger John
Ranger Laura gave me and Mrs. C a certificate and a pin of a redwood tree...
After that, the groups went off to do one last hike...and the adults went to finish getting the lodge cleaned up...all our gear ready to be packed onto the bus when it arrived...
After the activities, we had a snack...
and just had fun together before leaving our great time at the outdoor school!

On the bus, we were packed like sardines with all our gear...
and some rather tired 5th graders...
We made it back to school, unloaded the bus, and our parents came to pick us all up by 1 p.m.  I think many of us went home and slept awhile..and got nice and warm in our homes...

What a wonderful time we had... a HUGE thank you to all the parents who made it possible!
