Mr. G 'Sings across the USA'

 Mr. G retired from our school last year.  He was teaching 5th grade up until then.  As a teacher, Mr. G always liked to sing with his class. 

 Being retired, he decided he still wanted to do that...so he's coming around to all the upper grade teachers asking if we'd like him to come into our rooms for about an hour and sing with the students, telling them about some of our country's history through song.

 I don't know if you're noticing, but he keeps changing hats!

 Each hat represents an era...or a type of music...and the hat they may have been worn during that time.

 

 

 Mr. G told us that he taught himself to play the guitar!  Wow!

We definitely enjoyed having Mr. G come to our classroom...and definitely enjoyed hearing him sing songs across America!
