December 6th Friday Group

 It was our first Friday group in December.  The cooking group was making biscuit...

 Two different recipes for biscuits... one was a little spicy :)

 Outside it was stormy...and cold...so the woodworking group was able to work in the gym.  Mr. C wasn't able to come this day, so Jim and Tim took control!

 The sewing group was hard at work!

 Ms. Garnica told me she had never really baked.  She's been enjoying working with the cooking group and, she said, she's learned a lot!  YeeHaw!

 Evan was curious about the oceans...and the globe...and I'm really just making that part up!  I have no idea what he was talking about!

 The cooking group was cutting out the biscuits.  We made them smaller so we could try both recipes.

 I need to look at the recipe, but I think it was paprika we sprinkled on top of one of the recipes.

 Oh yum...looks like the biscuits are ready!

 Wrong...they are ready to go in the oven!

 Ohhhh...the dreaded 'seam-ripper'...  We all make mistakes, but when you SEW a mistake, you can take the stitching out with a seam-ripper...it can take a bit of time...

 As I've said before, every group needs to help clean up.  Here, Kai is carrying a wooden box back to Room 5....a box that is NOT light...it IS heavy!  Wow, Kai!!!

 After recess, while serving the biscuits, the servers offered jam.  Lucas was passing out the apricot jam.

 Jim and Aya were happy to try the recipes out...

Once Room 5 is served, the next stop is the kitchen.  We couldn't do all this without Debby's cooperation...after Debby is the office.  I followed the cooking group on this day since Ms. G was doing her solo.  Here, they went to serve biscuits and jam to Mr. S!
