Friday afternoon we completed giving our tribe poster presentations. (Well, most completed them. Some left early or were absent..they'll make them up this week.) We finished at 2:40 p.m. That was too late to start another project...so with the beautiful weather, we went outside for 30 minutes of FFPE....aka Free Friday P.E.
As you can see from these photos, we had a lot of smiles outside!
I was excited to get these photos of Owen smiling! If you look back through this blog, I doubt if you'll see one. If he sees the camera, he doesn't smile. No matter how much coaxing I do, it doesn't work. He, Jayce, Jayden, and Kenneth were playing basketball...and that is the source of Owen's smile. I took advantage of the opportunity!

Tether ball has definitely made a huge comeback at our school!
Wall ball has always been a popular recess activity!
3:12 p.m. rolled around and it was time to call it a day...to call it a week...and head home for the weekend.
I look at these kids and just feel so blessed to be able to teach them.
They are such a sweet group of kids!
