Her job: to keep the balloon in the air longest. She couldn't touch it...the balloon couldn't touch anything...
Eric was another contestant...as was Travis...
but OUR Mikayla was the victor!
Sabrina was up next for Room 5. She had the task of transferring Tic-Tacs...but this time it was from one table to the next...a bit difficult...but she did well!
You have to pick up the Tic-Tac with tweezers! It's much easier said than done...that's for sure!
This is Thomas...he was able to transfer the most Tic-Tacs!
Jason was our 3rd competitor. His task was to balance...not 5, but 6 dice on a tongue depressor without touching the tongue depressor....
Room 5 was sure cheering for Jason!
Alexis was another contestant...
as was Kasey...
Six dice was more than anyone could do...we had no winner!
Sawyer came next with the task of transferring the gum balls from one container to the next...
I don't know the names of all the contestants...but they were both giving Sawyer some competition...
Oh look! Almost all the gum balls are down!
So close, Sawyer!
The last one was the unstacking/restacking the cups. These can only be done by one student at a time because of the number of cups we have...
Ian was a great representative for Room 5!
He was fast and methodical...
and he was down to the last one but the blue cup was stuck...he kept shaking it, and it finally flew onto the ground....Ian got it and just about had it on the stack when the countdown was over.
Macey was from a different classroom...and she also did well...and her blue cup also got stuck. I think the plan is for Ian and Macey to have a unstack/restack-off next week.
Minute to Win it! I'm thinking of another task to add to the game next week!
