Orientation

 We arrived!  We headed into the lodge to eat our lunch...

 Room 5 was definitely excited to be there...along with Mrs. C's 5th graders. 

 After lunch, we were able to hang out in the lodge for awhile, waiting for the rangers to finish their lunch before we had our orientation...and our first field study.

We met outside in the 'outdoor classroom'... and the rangers performed a little skit to talk to us about the stewardship of the outdoors...and this outdoor school.

 Our parents were enjoying the skit, too!

 After the initial introduction, we met back on the steps of the lodge to hear about our field studies.

It was a little cool outside...but there was NO RAIN!   Yeah, yeah, yeah! 

We were ready!
