 Austin...

Austin started by telling us he got his name because his parents liked the name.  It said it means, "Great."

(Did you know that the capital of Texas is Austin?)

He started by pulling a baseball out of his bag.  He played baseball for 5 years - 2 years on T-ball,2 years on 1st league, and now he's in the 2nd year of 2nd league.  This baseball he's holding was signed by all the members of our local semi-professional baseball team.  

 Austin brought an army plane because he likes planes...and he likes flying!

He also likes cars, like race cars and sports cars.  He brought a car to show us.

A nerf dart was in his bag because he likes Nerf.  He also told us he has 3 or 4 of them.

Pok-e-mon cards is something else Austin likes.  He brought one of those, too.

Have you ever heard of a Bey-Blade?  I certainly hadn't...but most of Room 5 knew exactly what it was.  I kept asking Austin to repeat what it was so I could write it down.  Finally, someone spelled it for me....I think it was David.

A Bey-Blade is like a spinning top...sort of.

This video game is about football.  Austin likes football, he plays football, and he likes the video game of football.  He also has a football game this weekend...

and, he announced...

He doesn't like to read!  OH NO!  That statement got Mrs. J and Room 5 in an uproar!
