 Meet Ms. C!

Room 5 is fortunate this semester to have Ms. C as our student teacher! Today, she shared her bag.  We learned that she was named Alicia because her mom liked the actress, Aly McGraw.  Even though her name is Alicia, her mom calls her Aly.  Eva is her middle name....and it's just a name both of her parents liked.

Ms. C had the book The Outsiders in her bag.  She told us she first read it when she was in 5th grade...and now, she's read it 17 times!

She also had a camera in her bag, telling us she loves photography....

In this photo above, she's holding a crochet hook.  She loves to crochet and she makes these little figures...

 She called it a Cyclops monster...and all Room 5 thought it was adorable! 

Ms.C showed us her journal and said her mom gave it to her for her birthday.  She uses it for writing down her ideas.

Ms. C is very creative and loves to make crafts.  She showed us a shrinky-dink pin that she made.  She sells them on the internet...I think on Etsy.  In addition to Shrinky-dinks, she uses palomar clay and makes earrings and necklaces.  She brought some earrings to show.  Both of these crafts require cooking time in the oven, so her boyfriend bought her a little oven so she didn't have to turn on her big oven.

We enjoyed hearing about Ms. C...and are looking forward to seeing more of her crafts!
