Fingerprints

 In Science, we have started a study on fingerprints.  We took our own prints and now are analyzing them.

 How are they alike?  How are they different?

If we were to sort them into 3 groups, what would the criteria be?  (Parents, if you know, please don't tell!  It will be more fun if they discover this themselves!)

Looking under a magnifying glass, the prints are so clear.

After having time to look at them, Room 5 shared ways they thought the prints could be grouped...

Our purpose is to figure out if fingerprints are inherited...if the type of fingerprint you have is inherited...
