 Caleb...

Caleb is new at our school this year.  I told his mom today that he 'fit in like a glove!'  Caleb started by telling us that he was either going to be named Caleb or Gideon...and he hates Gideon, so he's glad he ended up as 'Caleb.'  His dad had a friend with a nickname of Kamal...and that's his middle name...and he hates it!  (Caleb, I hated my middle name growing up, too.  Now I love it because it's different, unique!) 

Caleb shared some fur from a cow....because he loves to eat beef!

 He shared his football gloves - and, of course, he had to model one of them - telling us he loves football. 

 This is a duck bill he had in his bag.  He told us he loves the Oregon Ducks.  This is actually a whistle...which he demonstrated.  Room 5 wanted him to blow it again, but unfortunately, his teacher said, NO!

We got more of a glimpse of Caleb's personality when he shared his two fake snakes.  He told us he likes to scare his mom with them.  He'll put them in her bed to scare her!

He had a picture of his two cousins in Seattle, an old football picture when he was in Seattle, and an adorable picture of him when he 'was a little kid.'  Room 5 thought he had really changed!

He also had a football video game.  He loves football and he also loves video games. 

This is a Chinese Finger Trap.  Again, Room 5 wanted him to demonstrate.  They're suppose to be hard to get off, but Caleb didn't have any problem at all. 

He also brought a golf ball that was split.  He just brought it because he found it.  He didn't split it, that's how he found it. 

The last thing he shared was a sports car...because he likes cool cars!

It was fun listening to Caleb give us a little glimpse into his personality!
