 David Michaj....
David got his first name because his mom loves baseball.  Her favorite baseball player is Michael David Bell...so that's where 'David' came from.  David has a twin brother, Michael.  Michael was born first, so we were wondering if that's why David got the middle name?  Michaj is his mom's favorite Polish name.  (His mom is from Poland.)

David brought a video game called Dance Central.  He told us he likes to dance and he likes video games.

 He also likes to paint.  This picture is his "first ever canvas painting."  He named it "Colors."

David also brought a bookmark with the planets in 3D.  He told us he likes to read and he has a lot of space books. 

There were a lot of oohs and ahhs when David pulled out this Reese's...and he laughed and said, "It's empty!"  At that point, he mashed on it to show us it really had nothing in it. 

He told us he really likes peanut butter cups and chocolate, but 'NOT DARK CHOCOLATE!"  He said it was too bitter.

David shared a colored pencil, telling us he likes to draw...and a regular pencii because he likes to sketch.  He told us that sketching and drawing are two different things.  He also writes his own books sometimes. 

The last thing David shared was this ...critter?  He said it was "Sonic" which is his favorite video game character.  Actually, he said, the one he brought was Super Sonic in his modern design, not classic.  This led to some discussion in Room 5 over the difference between modern design and classic - as it relates to video games.  Their teacher was clueless what they were talking about.

Finally, David told us his favorite color was blue!
