Isabella

 Isabella...

Isabella told us that her name means "beautiful" in Spanish...and she is, both inside and out!  She also told us that IF she had been a boy, her name would have been either Colton or Cash.  She has a lot of nicknames...like Izzy, Bella, Sis, Boo Boo, and Izzy Bee.  

 Isabella had a pink pen in her bag.  She told us she likes to draw...and her favorite color is Pink!  In addition, she performed a trick with her pen... can you see how I caught the pink fuzzy ball in mid-air?  Yep, she pressed a button, or something like that, and the little pink ball just shot out of the pen! 

She had a postcard of a movie, Love in the Time of Monster.  The movie is suppose to come out in 2012...and...Isabella is IN THE MOVIE!  She said it's just a little part... Wow!  Isabella!!!

She had a photo of her and her soccer team, the Pink Piranhas! 

 Isabella also likes to read, although not this book.  She just used this book since it was small to illustrate this!

She also had a manual on making balloon animals.  She likes to make them.  This led to a discussion in Room 5 of one of my former students who dresses like the Cat in the Hat and does balloon art at local fairs. 

Isabella likes to make crafty animals.  This was made with a giant ring puffball + a bottlecap + the googly eyes. 

She brought her Barbie doll and told us she likes to play with it...sometimes.

Last but not least, she had her dance trophy.  She really likes to dance.  She used to do hip-hop and tap, but now she just does tap.
