He didn't bring a lot in his bag, but what he did bring centered around baseball. He LOVES baseball, absolutely loves it. He brought a baseball cap from our local semi-pro team (remember we don't use specific names here on the Room 8 News!) where he gets to be a bat-boy. He said he had done it...well, I can 't remember how many times he's been bat-boy, but it was a lot. Many other baseball fanatics in Room 8 wanted to know HOW did he get to do that! 
This baseball was signed by the whole semi-pro team. This led to a discussion of how the baseball was inside the box! Some Room 8ers had never seen something like this and didn't realize the box would open. This led to another discussion on how you could buy the box AND a baseball as a kit.
David had another baseball cap to show how he loves baseball... His baseball loving teacher asked him to model it...
Doesn't David look great in a baseball cap? Just like a pro!
