Logan T

Logan T started off as so many Room 8ers are:

"Pretty much everyone who was in my class last year knows what I'm going to pull out of my bag..."

Logan then proceeded to pull out this picture of his cat. I wasn't sure if it was even a real cat, but it is. He and his dad painted it last year (the cat, not the picture) at St. Patrick's Day!

Logan brought an air hockey puck...because he likes to play air hockey and he has one in his house. Wow! I bet that's fun!

Shin guard, only one since there wasn't enough room in his bag for two, but he likes to play soccer. He told us he's been playing for 5 or 6 years. He thinks this is his 7th year.

Logan brought a SPORK because he loves to eat. He said "most of you know that!" He told us that his favorite food is shrimp.

"Many of you who know me..." Logan began again. At this point, Room 8 shouted, "Sponge Bob!" and Logan's reply, "Not even close!"
Out came these two games, or at least the books that came with the games. One of them was something like Halo Three... but oh my, did this ever start a discussion in Room 8! Logan told us he has an X Box, an X Box 360, a PlayStation 2, a PlayStation, a DS, a Wii, and a Nintendo. Oh my! My question to Room 8 was... why do so many of you have so many game players? Why don't you just have one?
Most of the reasons centered around the available games for each system. Some of them told me they get bored playing one system, so they'll switch to another. I then started asking what the price of all these were. I was in shock, especially considering that didn't even include the price of the games.
Next, Logan pulled out his lego ship. He said he built this ship for when he and his friend have lego battles. The last thing Logan shared was this book. He said when he's tired or bored, he reads. He also told us he likes to read Goosebumps.

Thank you for sharing your bag, Logan, and for the great discussion about video games!
