Terra

Today was Terra's day to share her bag. She had been looking forward to it...and since her name is Terra...and we only have 2 kids with a first name that starts with T...and one Z...well, that put her near the bottom of the rotation.
We were waiting to see what would come out of her bag first...

It was a Monkey...a stuffed animal monkey that makes noise. Terra told us she likes collecting them (I'm not sure if she collects stuffed animals or monkeys!). This one is special because her Aunt Tish gave it to her for her birthday.

She then told us about her dream journal. She shares it with her sister and they write their dreams in it. How cool is that?
Next was a 'cat's eye' that she made at Kid's Camp. It was suppose to be for her dad to hang up. But he hasn't done it when it's an easy task.

She showed us her softball trophy that she got for the 2009 season. She played Kaylee's team a lot.

Terra really likes to read and she brought this book to illustrate it. She's read it a lot...and her sister read it when she was in 4th grade.
This white car is her coaches car. Now, I don't remember much else about this...maybe Terra goes to see him race??? I'm sorry I can't remember, Terra. She brought a crayon, actually quite a few crayons, to tell us how she likes to draw. She has a lot of free time, so that's when she does a lot of her drawing.
Terra also likes to play baseball. This ball is special because she is one of the only people who got a baseball signed from her mom's work.

Terra talked to us about shells...
about how she likes to go to the beach. She actually got this shell with her uncle. Then she showed us two other shells.

Some room 8ers couldn't see it very well. "SEE?" said Terra.

Here's the other shell...

This key chain says "I heart Disneyland." Guess where she got it? Yep, from Disneyland...because as Terra said, "I LOVE DISNEYLAND!"
Terra proceeded to show us all the crayons she brought. She had quite an assortment of colors. When she showed Room 8 a yellow one, someone commented on how it was the same color as her socks.
Definitely something to blog about...matching crayon and sock!
Great job, Terra!
