That is pretty amazing! Jarrin could switch it around pretty fast. He likes to play with these... and I can't remember how many he said he had.
Jarrin also told us he loves Halloween... and he wore this mask last year. He described the rest of the costume and he told us he likes to read about dark things... He was just showing us the mask at first, but many Room 8ers wanted to see it on him. He said OK and held it up to his face so we could get an idea of how it looked.
Jarrin also brought gloves...yes, just regular gloves. He said he loves gloves because they keep his hands warm! I thought that was a pretty unique thing to bring in a bag. I love gloves too, but never thought about how much I love them for keeping me warm!
Super Mario Brothers... well, most of Room 8 knew about this. Jarrin said it was his favorite, or one of his favorite games. Of course, like many other 4th graders, he loves video games. This prompted a discussion about video games. I asked if anyone in Room 8 DIDN'T like to play them, and was pleasantly surprised that quite a few raised their hands!
Here, he is holding the game so everyone in room 8 can see it. He described it to us so we'd know how to play it if we decided to play.I think everyone learned some new facts about Jarrin!
