Noah

Today we learned a lot about Noah! She definitely came with a full bag...Room 8 said it was just like Mary Poppins! (Remember when she keeps pulling items from her bag?)
Noah first showed us a picture of her and her hamster, Snowball. She's named that because she looks like a ball.

She had her goggles in her bag because she loves to swim. As usual, we asked her to model them.

Next, Noah had some photographs of her family. She had one of her sister, Chloe, when they were younger and one of her riding her first pony, Sonny, at the fair.

She also shared a photograph of her family at LegoLand. We definitely have a lot of Room 8ers who would love to go to LegoLand!

Next came a paintbrush. Noah told us she really likes to paint and do art.

C.S. Lewis is her favorite author. She really likes this book, The Last Battle, the 7th book in the series.

A bouncy ball was included because she likes to play with them...

and a spatula because she likes to cook. She told us that when she was 5 years old, her Dad made pancakes. So, she got up at 5 a.m. and started making herself pancakes!

Hot Cocoa Mix was included because it's one of her favorite things to drink.

I shouldn't have been surprised when Noah pulled these out of her bag. Two of the Littlest Pet Shop toys. I don't think I'd ever heard of them before this year. Noah told us she had 53 of them at home.

This comb was included because she likes to comb her hair and she just likes to mess with her hair in the mornings.

Noah likes to write so she included this pen. She told us when she was 3 years old, she wrote her own book, Magical Unicorn. She told us she got all the words wrong except a, and, the, and I. I was impressed, VERY impressed, that she even wrote a book when she was three! That's awesome, Noah!

Noah has 103 marbles, which she loves to collect. She brought two of them to show us.

Noah showed us a necklace her grandmother gave to her when she first started ballet. It had a ballet shoe on it. This bracelet is one that Noah made in 2nd grade. She told us she likes jewelry.

Noah also showed us an arrowhead she made this summer. She said it didn't turn out very good. "I did a horrible job," she told us.
She also showed us a seashell. She likes to go to the beach and find seashells.
When she showed us this half dollar, she said she likes to collect coins and also likes to spend money.
Noah, we enjoyed hearing all about you!
