In class, I haven't heard Keith talk a lot, but when he shared his bag, he shared a wealth of information, especially about legos! He first pulled this 'Lego Wizard' out of his bag. He told us he ordered it online and that he really liked legos.
He then led us through an incredible journey of LegoLand. He went there because of his birthday and took some awesome pictures. He brought his photo album and selectively showed us some great photos...especially ones of sculptures. They were amazing!
Keith said he likes to play pranks sometimes. He brought this 'snappy gum' to show us.
I think this is his Magic 8 Ball. He told us it had tape around it because it has a little leak. He didn't tell us what you do with a Magic 8 Ball... Um???
Next, Keith brought out some photos of his family. This one has his sister, Katherine.

...and here's one of his dad at work.
Keith then began to pull out lego pieces. He said they were parts of a dragon...and proceeded to put it together for us. I asked him to hold it up so I could get a good blogging photo of it.
When he held it up, you should have heard Room 8! "That's SO COOL!" and "OHHHH, AWESOME!" and "Whoa! Look at THAT!" etc.... I think we were all pretty impressed!

Keith also likes to drive remote control cars so he brought this one in to show us.
Keith told us he likes quite a few types of legos: Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Pirates, Castles... This is a king in the photo.
He brought his DS...(this blogging teacher isn't sure what that stands for, but it's a video game player, something like that).
Then Keith held up this little cartridge and said that was his favorite game...for the DS. It's called "Lego Battles."
Keith also brought a coin from his Dad, because he likes to collect coins; some Pok-e-mon cards because he USED to collect them, but not anymore. He hasn't collected them for 1 or 2 years.
Now look at this grin! Keith pulled out this $5 bill and said he brought this because he likes money! Perfect, Keith!
Keith had many questions asked after his presentation about legos...and then when it was time for recess, some of our guys chose to stay in and discuss legos, dragons, and remote controls with Keith.
Great sharing of your bag, Keith!

I really enjoyed reading all about Keith! What a fun assortment of things he chose to share!
What a nice way for Room 8 teacher to learn about her students and sharing it with others is really special. Thank you!
