Sadie

Sadie... she's new to our school this year and we're glad she landed in Room 8! Sadie started off by telling us she likes to draw a lot. She brought a pack of crayons to illustrate this.

You may be wondering what this is... it's Sadie's DS and she put stickers all over it. She told us she keeps it in 'it's little package thingy.'

Sadie loves sand dollars. She got this one at the beach.

She drew on this one...but she told us, "I have a lot of sand dollars!"

Sadie likes this CD. It's from someone related to her who has been on Barbie commercials. She told us this relative was kind of famous in their family.

This CD is called Natural Milk and it's one of Sadie's favorite music CD's. (Once again, this blogging teacher is feeling behind the times since I've never heard of Natural Milk!)

Sadie told us she had this pink hat...

that her grandma sent to her. She told us she loves it because it's soft and fuzzy. Naturally, I asked her to model it for us....

Oh my! Sadie put it on and I wanted to take about 1,000 photographs. All I could think was, "Wow, Sadie. That's gorgeous...you are stunningly beautiful!"

Next, Sadie showed us her scarf...her scarf with stars on it that her cousin Kylie sent. Many of the girls in Room 8 commented on how much they liked the scarf.

Next was strawberry hand sanitizer. Sadie told us she put it in her bag because she likes to keep clean!

This bracelet is funny because it says "Irony" on it. Sadie told us she likes to wear it to festivals.

"What kind of festivals?" we asked.

"Oh, just any kind," replied Sadie.

Since she brought her DS, she also brought her favorite game, "Kirby Super Star Ultra." I had to finally ask Room 8 to spell it because I could not understand what the name was.

Next, Sadie told us she made some perfume and put it in this little jar. Kaylee was curious and asked how she makes perfume. Sadie told us her grandma owns a perfume factory in Petrolia. The way they made it, is they just threw random stuff together. Her grandma has a cabinet full of it.

Room 8 was intrigued. They all wanted to smell the perfume, so Sadie walked around the room letting everyone get a whiff!
