Athena

 Meet Athena!

Athena started her bag by showing us a paintbrush.  She told us that whenever she sees it, she wants to paint.  "Unfortunately," she said, "I don't have any paints!"
She showed us this ring from her mom.  She told us she's had it about a year, and it still doesn't really fit her.
A Zooble was in her bag.  She said it didn't stick to metal like Makenzie's.
This hockey puck is one she got in Idaho when she went to her first hockey game.

She had a charm her dad got her in Mexico.  It's a charm for a necklace and her name is written on it in Mayan.
This teddy bear is one her dad gave her for Valentine's Day...because he loves her!

Athena said she got her name because her dad thought it would be a good name since it was the name of a Greek goddess.  Jaroslava is her middle name and it means "Celebration of Spring."  I asked her if she was born in the spring... she wasn't!

It was fun learning new things about Athena!
