Meet Cherish!
Cherish started with a picture of her when she was first born. In this picture, her grandma was holding her.
This is a photo of Cherish and her brother at Christmastime. Her brother's name is Sonny. Cherish also had a lot more photos of her family to share.
Look at this bracelet! Cherish likes to make bracelets and made this one at Kid's Club.
This blue heart is made from Fuze Bead... (I hope I have that correct!) She also made this at Kid's Club...but it might have been at Kid's Camp. It's in her favorite shades of blue.
A crystal was in her bag. She got it at a local rock shop. She told us she thought it might be part of a geode but she's not sure. Her grandma bought it for her...and Cherish was with her when she bought it.
She had another rock that she found when she was camping with her cousin. She told us the black stuff in the rock was 'real gold'. When someone pointed out it was black, Cherish told us it was black because there wasn't any light.
This medal is from playing softball.
Cherish shared a fossil that Mike found. Mike is her mom's boyfriend. He's the one that gave it to her. She told us it must be over 100 years old because that's how fossils are made.
The last thing she shared was a part of a 'salmon ribcage'. She said something had tried to eat it, maybe a bird or something like that. She had this in her bag because she likes to hunt for bones!
Regarding her name: Cherish told us her mom looked through a baby book about names and "stopped right there and said, 'That's it!' " ... and that's how she got her name!
How much fun it was to learn more about Cherish!
