 Meet Lucas!

I thought he was shy at first...but then he started...and what a ham!  He started with this rabbit skin which he said he got from a rendezvous.  His sister gave it to him.

 He showed us this Mario sticker...telling us he likes Mario!

 You could hear a lot of "YUMs" coming from room 5 when Lucas pulled this out of his bag.  He told us he likes doughnuts.  He got this hat in Chico, California.  He ate 1 1/2 doughnuts and drank a smoothie.

 This wooden pencil is to illustrate how he likes drawing!

 Lucas likes baseball...and this baseball was signed by 3 players from our local semi-pro team.  He also has a foul ball from that team.  When Lucas plays baseball, he plays outfield and 2nd base.

 This weasel fur was also from his sister at a rendezvous.  She couldn't go this year because his sister is 15 and you can't be older than 12. 

Lucas had a lot of small rocks in this little case, but he said he didn't have a clue what kind of rocks they were. 

He also had a wolf necklace made by the president of the rendezvous in 2007.  By this time, room 5 (including their teacher) was curious what a rendezvous was.  I know what it means, but I was with the rest of the class, not having a clue what Lucas was referring to.  When someone finally asked him, he said it was "when you run around acting like mountain men."   OK....

He also brought his DS...because he likes video games.

Regarding his name:  Lucas... he told us his dad wanted his name to be Annakis...and his mom wanted it to be Luke.  Then his dad came up with Lucas.

Many were quick to point out that these all have to do with Star Wars..with George Lucas being the creator of it!

It was a lot of fun to listen and watch Lucas share his bag!
