Name that Number

 Wednesday, we played a game.  I think it was called, "Name that Number"...but not positive as I'm writing this.  As  you can see, we played with decks of cards...the K, Q, J, and jokers were pulled out.  Aces counted as 1.

The way the game is played is first, the top two cards are turned over and added together.  This becomes the 'target number'.

Then each player gets 5 cards and they write down those 5 cards.

Then each player uses any combination of their 5 cards (they don't have to use all 5) to add, subtract, multipy, and/or divide to get as close to the target number as possible.

Room 5 is fortunate to have so much help during math.  Of course, we have Ms. G., but we also have Tyler and Marissa, students from our local university who come every Monday and Wednesday.
