Storyteller

 We had a GREAT assembly today with a storyteller.  His initials are WC...remember..no names on this blog!

This critter above was in time-out...he had been 'acting inappropriately'!  But we didn't know what he had done...

 WC told us how he grew up in a small town on the east coast and that he grew up HATING storytellers...and politicians.  He told us great stories of the politician who would come talk to his school...and the storyteller who usually told stories to preschool students..and now was telling the same stories in the same way to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. 

 WC always wanted to play the guitar...and he learned one song...and then he got sick of it cause it's the only thing he knew how to play.  He then started playing 'ugly music'...and it was indeed ugly...and hilarious!

 Moose (who can remember the Moose's name?) was originally used when WC told stories to his son who at the time was 5 years old...

 and then...frog/toad...he was a wanna-be-musician.  He performed for us,

"We will, we will SWAT YOU,  SWAT YOU!..."
The audience joined in clapping...

 then the little guy got to get out of time out...

and even though I don't remember what he was in time-out for, I know for a fact that this was a GREAT assembly...and I doubt if there was anyone who wasn't smiling and laughing for almost the entire time!
