Meet Eric!

Eric started his sharing by showing us some photographs.  He told us how he went to South Dakota and Mt. Rushmore.  He went to the "Reptile Garden" where this picture was taken.  There was also a bird show and an alligator show at the Reptile Garden.  Eric saw the snake in the Harry Potter movies!  He said it was HUGE!!!  He told us he actually went to a lot of states. 

He showed us a picture of him on a 16-mile hike last week....8 miles there and 8 miles back.  He told us he didn't even take a rest! 

When Eric talked about the snake in Harry Potter, everyone wanted to see it up close.  Eric walked around the room showing a photograph of it. 

Eric also shared a flashlight.  He got it from a guy that was moving.  He told us he also has a book light!

Eric shared a rock.  He told us, "I think it's actually gold!"  When asked, why, he said, "I can see yellow stuff - I can see gold inside."

He also brought his slide for Cub Scouts.  Most Room 8ers had no idea what a slide was.  It's what you 'slide' the ends of the scarf in so it hangs down in front kind of like a tie.

He brought a bouncy ball...because he likes them!

Last, Eric shared his DSI XL.  Tobias pointed out that the game matched Eric's shirt...  Eric said, "Yeah, it's midnight blue."  He told us his favorite games were sports games.  "Well, that's pretty much all I have!" said Eric.     We loved hearing about Eric!
