Travis

 Meet Travis!

He started by digging in his bag and saying, "The first thing I have in my bag ... if I can get it out..."

and out came a book about dogs!  Travis told us he loves to read...and he has two dogs.  One is 1/2 lab and 1/2 rottweiler.  That is 'Junior."  His other dog is 'Abby'... but he's not sure what kind of dog she is.

In the first picture, Travis brought his DS Light.  Room 5 told me it was a normal DS.  Travis told us he likes to go 'head to head' with his parents.  Room 5 questionned him on this...asking if he gets to play the DS with his parents.  He told us they love to play, too!
Travis also brought a fossil of Tyrannosaurus Rex's toy foot.... I'm not sure I got this exactly right...   Is that correct, Travis?
Everyone gets excited about Tyrannosaurus Rex!
A Star Wars puzzle was in Travis' bag.  He said he loves to work puzzles with his mom... and he also likes Star Wars!

A 'Paper Jam' was also something Travis shared.  He had the Paper Jam guitar from Burger King.  He said he also has the drums...not from Burger King but the real ones.  I needed a little lesson in what a 'paper jam' was... but the way I understood it, is they're not quite as large as real ones????  Room 5ers knew all about it...only their teacher was in the dark!
Travis had these legos in his bag.  He said he has 'a ton of lego Star Wars'.  The first set he got broke 5 days later.  As Travis was talking about legos, I asked him if he liked legos.  "No," he answered.  "No?" I questioned.  "No, I LOVE legos!" was his final answer!       Travis also had a little ball.  He told us he likes to do sports...golfing, basketball, and bouncy balls!  He also has a mini-basketball that's hooked on to the door.  He got it at Rite-Aid...and he got the last one!  He also had 2 cars...2 speed racers.  He brought these to tell us how he loves to watch one of his favorite racers.
Last but not least, Travis brought his Bible.  He told us he likes to go to church. He goes to a Weslyan Church, which is a small church.  They have a children's church...and Travis told us that going to church is one of his favorite things to do!

We loved learning about Travis!
