Tracing and painting leaves

We started by tracing a leaf...some leaves...on paper...

Every two students shared a plate of leaves...

Once the first leaf was drawn, another leaf could be placed on the paper.  Drawing around this leaf, you didn't cross over the first lines..making the second leaf look like it was behind the first one.

Once the leaves were drawn, we traced over every pencil line with a black crayon....

The next day, Wednesday, we watercolored!  You could have heard a pin drop in Room 5...they were all so into their paintings...
