Meet Emily

Emily started with this piece of art... a unicorn - a glittery unicorn - encased in this glass. Unfortunately for readers of this blog, the unicorn doesn't show up in my photography - sorry, Emily! But I will tell you, it's really pretty! One of our Room 8ers asked Emily if she liked unicorns - she said she didn't, but that she did love glittery things.

Emily told us she's part Russian! Her mom went to Russia for a visit, and brought back these dolls. They're nested. I think they're called Babushkas. They are gorgeous. Room 8 was in awe has Emily kept opening one and taking out one smaller... the last one was TINY!
