Meet Mae

Mae, one of our 3 M girls to share today, is also in a group of 4 girlfriends who also have all their names starting not only with M...but with Ma. How fun is that?

I would call Mae an artist. She loves to paint...and in this picture, she is showing us a sand dollar that she painted. It's beautiful! She painted one for her sister too.


In a different sense of the word 'artist', Mae is a dancer. She does all types of dance, but here she brought her tap shoes...her new tap shoes. When I asked Room 8 what they had learned about Mae, someone said they learned she REALLY DID HAVE TAP SHOES! That is because we had a math word problem last week that said Mae bought new tap shoes! I'm looking forward to next week when Mae will do a little demonstration for us on tap dancing!

We also saw a different side of Mae...the softball player! Someone asked her why a softball is called SOFTball when it's not soft. Um??? Does anyone know?
Here our talented Mae is with some of her many ribbons....And then she's also a reader!

We learned that Mae is a very well-rounded 4th grader!
