Meet Kyle W

Kyle W is one of the Room 8ers who is a sibling of some of my former students! Actually, I've had two of Kyle's brothers. I got to know Kyle when was just a little first grader. His first grade class and my 4th grade class were 'buddies' and that's how I started getting to know Kyle!Kyle is really into BMX racing...and from what I've heard, he's very talented in this! 99 was his number in one of his races.
Speaking of how good he is, here are some of his medals...

...and look at that trophy! I believe it's a STATE MEET he's going to this weekend - that's how good he is.Kyle also shared this pocket watch. Room 8 had a little discussion about pocket watches while he shared this. A lot of Room 8's grandpas have had these.
Kyle is also into collecting coins. He had some old ones, but he also had these two silver dollars. Aren't they beautiful?

We learned a lot about Kyle...he's definitely a sports guy. I thought he would share a lot about basketball, but I found out that even though he LOVES basketball, BMX is his top choice now.
