Meet Edin

Edin is the third identical twin in Room 8...in all my years of teaching, I don't think I've ever had ONE identical twin...much less THREE! I've always thought it would be SO MUCH FUN to be a twin or to have twins.

Edin's bag went like Casey J's in that the questions and comments kept going on and on and on.... Edin is an ALASKAN FISHERMAN. We were all impressed. He brought lots of large photographs so we could see where his family stays when they're up in Alaska for the summer.

If you click these photos, they should enlarge on your computer. Try it and look at these photos of Edin's. WOW! While he was sharing, Kyle W. told me I kept saying "WOW" ... I told Kyle W. that I was SO impressed with all Edin was sharing.
This picture below is of a silver salmon (I think that's right.) That's huge.
Now many people are named after people in their families - but not Edin. He told us he was named after this boat. Someone asked him what the name of the boat was.... The Edin! For a family that absolutely loves fishing, what a great name!
Don't you just love finding out all this wonderful information about the awesome students who live in Room 8? I certainly do!

Dear Edin, I love seeing the pictures of YOU sharing your Kodiak Island life with your class. 4th grade is the best! I also really liked the pictures of your class with the garden beds, the bubble photos of the kids, and the way your teacher has set up this blogspot (is that what you call it?). Thank you and your class for this wonderful way to share your school year with all your friends. love from Auntie Mary

Hey E-Man! It looks like you have some wonderful classmates to share the year with. It's really neat that your teacher took the opportunity to set up a blog - I can't wait for more!
Do good things and be well.
Love,
Hunt (Edin's older brother)
